Noun explanation; Enterprise reengineering theory
Enterprise reengineering has also been translated into "company reengineering" and "reengineering project". It is a new enterprise management theory and method that appeared in the United States from 65438 to 0993. The so-called "reengineering project" is simply to redesign the operation, management and operation mode of enterprises with workflow as the center. According to the definition of M. Hammer and J. james Ciampi, the founders of this theory, it means "fundamentally rethinking and thoroughly reforming business processes to improve the operating benchmarks of major modern enterprises by leaps and bounds", that is, "changing and redesigning from scratch". In order to adapt to the new competitive environment in the world, enterprises must abandon the established operation mode and working method and redesign the operation, management and operation mode of enterprises with workflow as the center.
Enterprise reengineering includes enterprise strategy reengineering, enterprise culture reengineering, marketing reengineering, enterprise organization reengineering, enterprise production process reengineering and quality control system reengineering.
