Origin of the Ragdoll Cat?
The Ragdoll cat (scientific name: Ragdoll), also known as the fairy cat, the Braddell cat, belongs to the genus Cat, family Felineidae, is one of the largest and heaviest cats in existence. The Ragdoll cat is mainly distributed in the United States and the United Kingdom. It has a soft, trim coat that requires frequent grooming and washing to prevent tangles. This breed was bred by American Ann Baker in the 1960s, and was named for its docile nature, which makes it look like a soft muppet when hugged.
