Code for design of joint classrooms in primary and secondary schools

The design can refer to the requirements of combined classrooms in primary and secondary schools. See "Audio-visual and Common Classroom" on page 182 of architectural design data set 3. Relevant specifications are as follows.

The distance between the table and the blackboard

The horizontal distance between the front of the first row of desks in the classroom and the blackboard should not be less than 2500mm；; The horizontal distance between the back edge of the last row of desks in the classroom and the blackboard should not be greater than 18000mm.

The viewing angle is not less than 30.

The horizontal viewing angle formed by the students in the front seat and the far end of the blackboard should not be less than 30.

Seat spacing

Seat spacing: primary school should not be less than 800mm, middle school, normal school and kindergarten teachers should not be less than 850 mm.

Aisle width: the clear width of longitudinal and transverse aisles should not be less than 900mm；; When there are middle and longitudinal walkways against the wall, the width of the longitudinal walkways against the wall should not be less than 550 mm

Seat width

The seat width should not be less than 450~500mm.

Table and chair design

Classroom tables and chairs should be fixed. The class chair should be a flip chair.

Ladder classroom design

Staircase classrooms are generally common in universities and can also be seen in some primary and secondary schools. This kind of classroom has a large area and can accommodate many people, but its biggest feature is that the floor is stepped and gradually rises. The farther away from the podium, the higher off the ground, the higher the seat, so that the farther away from the podium, students with back seats can clearly see the blackboard and podium, and will not be blocked by students in the front row.
