Six Flowcharts of Rice Planting

The six procedures of rice planting are seed selection, seed drying, seed cleaning, disinfection and seed soaking, and accelerated germination and sowing.

1, select the appropriate variety.

There are many good varieties now, but we must choose high-quality and disease-resistant varieties according to the local accumulated temperature soil and growing environment.

2. Seed drying

Expose the selected seeds in the sun for 2-3 days on sunny days to break the dormancy of seeds, enhance the activity of enzymes and improve the germination potential and germination rate of seeds.

3. Clean seeds

Select the dried seeds with 23% yellow mud water or 12- 13% salt water, that is, dry the loess in advance, then add a small amount of water to make it paste, add water to adjust it, and make the fresh eggs surface for 5 minutes, then add the seeds, take out the shriveled grains, wash them with clear water, and then disinfect them. If the seeds are selected by specific gravity, they can be disinfected directly.

Step 4 disinfect and soak seeds

Soak the selected seeds in the imide solution and stir once a day. The requirement is that the accumulated temperature should reach 100 degrees, that is, the seeds should be soaked at 10 degrees for 10 days, at 15 degrees for 7 days, and at 20 degrees for 5 days, so as to absorb enough water and ensure that the seeds are in good shape and grow vigorously. Otherwise, it is easy to heat the seeds without germination, resulting in the burning of the seeds and the loss of germination ability of the seeds.

5. Germination acceleration process

Heat the soaked seeds with warm water of 50 degrees, put them on straw with a thickness of 30 centimeters, wrap them with plastic sheets, cover them with quilts, and control the temperature at 30-32 degrees. Turn it frequently to ensure that the temperature is uniform, about 36 hours or 48 hours, and 80% of the seeds that come into contact with the white tip are broken. After the chest is broken, the temperature is reduced to 25 degrees to accelerate germination. When 80% of the seed buds are 3 mm long and the roots are 5 mm long, the seeds can be sown by cooling the buds at room temperature (indoor temperature) for 6-8 hours.

6. Sowing process

Sparse sowing cultivates strong seedlings. The broadcast volume is "rarely better than a secret". The best sowing date: March 10 can improve the greenhouse temperature, April 5- 10 can improve the greenhouse temperature, and April 15-20 can improve the greenhouse temperature. The sowing amount should be determined according to the seedling age. If the seedlings emerge in April 15 and transplant in May 15, the germination rate will reach over 90%, and 0.24 kg of seeds can be dried in each tray. After sowing, press three sides of the seeds into the soil with a wooden rake, flush with the ground, and then cover the soil screened by 1 cm.
