What is "Prussian Blue"?
Prussian blue, or ferricyanide, is a coordination compound.
Prussian Blue is a compound of the Prussian Blue family. Prussian White contains high sodium, Prussian Blue contains only one sodium and appears white, so it is called Prussian White.

In 1704, a German chemist named Heinrich Diesbach was producing a red pigment in his laboratory when an accidental contamination yielded a dark blue precipitate.
