What are the six districts of Xi city?
Xincheng District, beilin district, Lianhu District, Baqiao District, weiyang district and Yanta District. It was decided by the meeting of the leading group of China Merchants Bureau that in 2023, six urban areas, namely, Xincheng District, beilin district, Lianhu District, Baqiao District, weiyang district and Yanta District, have been designated as development zones. The new urban area, which belongs to xi City, Shaanxi Province, is one of the six main urban areas of Xi City, located in the northeast of Xi City, across the inside and outside of the city wall. With superior geographical location and developed transportation, the new city is an important transportation hub of provinces and cities and is known as the "gateway to the ancient city". 1927, Shaanxi provincial government moved from North Yard Gate to Hongcheng, renamed as New Town. Therefore, the new city is named.
