The Origin of Yueqin —— A Brief Introduction to Yueqin
Yueqin is a traditional plucked instrument in China, which originated in the Han Dynasty.
Yueqin originated from Ruan. As early as the period of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, the people of China had already created and invented Ruan. But at that time, this instrument, as the main playing technique, was generally called pipa. Moreover, Ruan was composed by musicians at that time with reference to musical instruments such as Qin, Zheng and couch.
