Why do TV reporters take video cameras or antique hosts? Isn't it more convenient to use IPHONE4?

The mainframe is not necessarily an antique. From the way of using the camera, it can be divided into two types: shoulder-mounted and handheld.

Shoulders are mainly broadcast-level (used by TV stations), and there are professional (news, conference) and civilian (small DV) handheld. The mobile phone camera is a family-level integrated version.

So the smaller the camera, the better.

The difference among broadcast camera, professional camera, civil camera and mobile phone camera is mainly CCD(CMOS), which will determine the quality of the pictures taken. Broadcast level (large machine) should have at least 23 devices of 3 sizes, and civil level is generally 1/4 or even 1/6 single chip microcomputer, and the camera of mobile phone is single chip microcomputer.

There is a production and broadcasting process for TV programs, and there is a requirement for image quality, which requires 2/3 CCD. There is also the need to accurately control the shooting effect and manually adjust it. So the size of the machine can't be reduced.

At present, domestic photographers mainly use DVCPRO, DVW and HDW series cameras, all of which are shoulder-mounted machines.
