What does SBR mean?
SBR—-sequencing batch reactor is a water treatment process invented by British scholars Ardern and Locket as early as 19 14. In the early 1970s, Professor R.Irvine of Natre Dame University in the United States made a systematic and in-depth study on SBR process in the laboratory scale, and in 1980, with the support of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the world's first SBR sewage treatment plant was rebuilt and operated in Culwer City, Indiana. The process of SBR process runs in time sequence, and an operation process is divided into five stages: water inflow, reaction, precipitation, decanting and idle.
