How should we adhere to and promote traditional Chinese culture?

Human quality involves many aspects, such as political quality, moral quality, cultural quality, physical quality, artistic quality and so on. The first three qualities are closely related, and the quality of traditional culture is a very important aspect of cultural quality. It is impossible for a nation to build its new culture on a desert, and a person can't detach himself from the cultural soil of his own growth to perfect himself. Therefore, every person must face up to his or her own cultural traditions as he or she grows up. There are two attitudes toward tradition that we should review: one is to stick to the tradition base, which is a kind of conservative cultural outlook; the other is to deny the tradition, which is a kind of nihilistic cultural attitude. The correct attitude should be: identify with tradition, abandon tradition, and rebuild tradition in transformation.

The essence of a nation's cultural spirit is its national spirit. The national spirit is the cultural spirit of a nation that can sustain its development, and it is the spiritual power of a nation. It can inspire people to move forward, and at the same time have a wide range of influence. So what is the traditional cultural spirit of the Chinese nation? There are different views on this. Liang Shuming believes that the spirit of "harmony" is the traditional Chinese national spirit, and Mr. Zhang Dainian, who has talked more about the cultural spirit in recent years, summarizes the spirit of traditional Chinese culture with two lines from "Zhouyi", i.e., "Self-improvement" and "Virtue carries things". He summarized the spirit of traditional Chinese culture with two phrases from the Zhou Yi, namely, "self-improvement" and "virtue". There is a certain degree of truth in all these, but then again, they have only said part of the story, which is of course the main part. I think that Chinese culture is viewed from the human heart and life, with a strong spirit of humanism and enterprising spirit, and we should follow this line of thought to understand the spirit of Chinese culture.
