Every April and May, villagers go to the mountains to cut bamboo, then cut it into pieces, put it in a pond, add lime and slowly pickle it for several months. After the bamboo rotted into cotton wool, they repeatedly trampled it with their feet in the workshop until it became paste. Then pour it into the pulp extraction pool, soak it and stir it evenly, which is called "pulp extraction". "Paper-making" means shaking a board from side to side in the pool. When the pulp is evenly covered on the board, a "wet paper" is born. A skilled paper worker can "make paper" more than 700 sheets a day. Fold the "wet paper" one by one, accumulate tens of thousands of sheets, and then use the equipment to "press the paper" to squeeze out the water. In order to facilitate the transportation of slender bamboo, Chishui has built 73 slicing factories in towns and villages. After the villagers transport the chopped bamboo from the bamboo forest to the slicing factory, each bamboo will be cut into small pieces smaller than the palm. Bamboo chips cut by slicer will be transported to Guizhou Chitianhua Paper Co., Ltd., a pulp and paper processing enterprise. Here, bamboo chips must be fermented for a month before they can be used to make virgin pulp paper. Guizhou Chitianhua Paper Co., Ltd. is the largest bamboo pulp paper producer in China. In the raw material yard of the enterprise, bamboo raw materials worth hundreds of millions of yuan are hoarded all the year round. With the guarantee of raw materials, the production capacity of the enterprise's virgin pulp paper has increased from 200,000 tons before 2065,438+08 to 360,000 tons.

Raw pulp paper can't be used directly, and it needs to be further processed into household paper for sale by downstream enterprises.

At present, there are 7 enterprises producing household paper in Chishui City, all of which are downstream enterprises of Chitianhua. Bamboo processing household paper is very popular with consumers in the market, and even sells well overseas. Zhu Jun Paper is one of the downstream enterprises that mainly make foreign trade orders. Last year, 80% of the household paper such as pump paper, roll paper and napkin produced here were sold to more than 20 countries such as the United States, Britain and Singapore, with an export value exceeding 654.38 billion yuan.
