How to understand the Marxist view of tragedy

Marx criticized the traditional view of tragedy, abandoning the traditional Western aesthetics of tragedy represented by Hegel's view of tragedy, which talks about tragedy only from the perspective of rational discourse. Instead, he revealed the essence of tragedy from the multiple inner constructed relations between tragedy and politics, economy and history, constructed his own social critical theory, and realized the criticism and transcendence of the capitalist society and its ideology and culture, and his concept of tragedy is an important part of his literary thought. From the standpoint of dialectical materialism and historical materialism, Marxist aesthetics scientifically summarizes the historical experience of the development of tragic contradictions and tragic art, correctly reveals the objective social roots of tragedy, and summarizes tragedy as "the tragic conflict between the inevitable demands of history and the practical impossibility of realizing this demand".
