Government's protection measures for ancient buildings

Legal analysis: This includes two aspects. First, we must strictly limit and regulate the behavior of tourists, avoid doodling and destroying cultural relics, and prevent the use of fireworks to burn down ancient buildings. We often say that cultural relics are priceless, and priceless treasures should also have strong protection measures. Second, around the development of ancient buildings, local governments should be cautious. Wudang Mountain has always been the focus of capital attention because of its historical origin and cultural status. Wudang Mountain's health, tourism, culture, martial arts and other resources can be easily realized quickly. If development is not restricted, many projects will rise overnight. However, from the perspective of being responsible for ancient buildings, world heritage and the future, over-exploitation is actually destruction, and the stale taste of development is actually destruction. On the contrary, prudence is protection, non-development is development, and inaction is long-term governance.

Legal basis: Article 8 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Protection of Cultural Relics. The State Council cultural relics administrative department is in charge of national cultural relics protection. Local people's governments at all levels are responsible for the protection of cultural relics within their respective administrative areas. The departments of the local people's governments at or above the county level that undertake the protection of cultural relics shall supervise and manage the protection of cultural relics within their respective administrative areas. The relevant administrative departments of the people's governments at or above the county level shall be responsible for the protection of cultural relics within the scope of their respective duties.
