In the eyes of young people today, what do traditional festivals in China mean?

Perhaps in the eyes of more young people, traditional festivals in China only mean festivals. The main reason is that for a long time, festivals have been linked to holidays, and customs are slowly losing.

In fact, the original intention of the country should be good. Every traditional festival has a corresponding holiday, leaving space and time for everyone to go there. But slowly, the traditional festivals in China are only linked with holidays.

Because from the beginning of school, the voices around me are like this. It has never been the Mid-Autumn Festival to eat moon cakes and enjoy the moon, and the Dragon Boat Festival to eat zongzi and row a dragon boat. Tomb-Sweeping Day has to silently pay homage to his ancestors, but the Mid-Autumn Festival and Dragon Boat Festival will last for a few days, and Tomb-Sweeping Day has also added a day off. So this idea is deeply rooted in the hearts of many young people. When it comes to traditional festivals in China, they will think of taking a few days off.

Of course, another reason is that customs are gradually being abandoned by people, so many people can't feel the atmosphere brought by traditional festivals in China, and naturally they have no expectations for it. In fact, the traditional festivals in China are still of great significance, but they are gradually developing into commercialization. Obviously, the distinctive China Festival seems to have finally become an entertainment project, a stunt of commercial activities and a reason for shopping. Therefore, it is natural to give up. After all, the essence has long been lost. Who wants to treat the dross as treasure?

So sometimes we can't just blame young people for forgetting their roots, saying that they don't understand the traditional festivals in China, and how can people who have never felt the atmosphere cherish them? At the same time, in the busy modern society, festivals really give people the deepest feeling that they are busy and can rest for a few days.

So generally speaking, there are still some traditional festivals in China, which I don't know for, and naturally I have no intention of inheriting. Of course, I still hope that more traditional festivals can be linked to holidays.
