History's Criticism of Caste System

The respected founder of Buddhism, Sakyamuni, and the founder of Jainism, Daxiong, may both oppose any form of caste structure. Many saints in the period of devout movement, such as nanak, kabir, Tsetanye, Seguru Nene Shiva, Aknas, Luo Manu and Dukaram, refused to accept all caste-based discrimination and accepted all sects from caste.

Many Hindu reformers, such as Saibaba in Kansai, believe in the caste-free system of Hinduism. /kloc-Ramanando, a saint in the 0/5th century, also accepted all castes as his followers, including untouchables. Most of the above saints agreed with the pious movement against caste spirit in the Middle Ages. Nandona, a low-caste Hindu priest, also refused to accept caste spirit and untouchables.
