March 1 What festival is it?
Hello:
March 1 is not a traditional festival in China!
But internationally, March 1 is International Seal Day!
Due to overfishing and hunting and seawater pollution, the number of seals is declining sharply. In order to protect seals, a rare animal, the Save the Seals Foundation decided on March 1983 as the International Seal Day every year.
In the United States, International Seal Day is March 22nd every year. Canada's international action day against commercial hunting of seals is scheduled for March 15 every year. China's environmental organizations designated March 1 as the International Seal Day.
I hope it helps you!
