Classification of cervical spondylosis

(1) cervical spondylosis

The main manifestations are neck discomfort such as soreness, pain and distension, neck muscle tension and tenderness, and tenderness points are mostly found in muscle articular process and nuchal ligament, and there is no obvious obstacle to the range of motion of the neck.

(2) cervical spondylotic radiculopathy

The main manifestations are cervical nerve root pain, accompanied by sensory abnormalities in the distribution area of cervical nerve root, such as numbness and pain. At first, the patient had neck and shoulder pain, and then it gradually increased in a short time, and radiated to one or both upper limbs. Skin sensation in the control area of cervical nerve root is weakened or allergic, muscle strength is decreased or atrophied, neck movement is limited, spinous process and upper horn in scapula are tender, brachial plexus nerve.

The traction test was positive and the neck pressing test was positive.

(3) Spinal cord type

The main manifestations are paralysis of limbs, tightness, clumsiness and weakness of hands and feet, inability of upper limbs to do fine movements, poor grip strength, weakness of lower limbs, unstable gait, easy to fall, feeling of stepping on cotton when walking, feeling of banding in the chest and abdomen, which may affect life lightly, and even cause paralysis in severe cases, often accompanied by autonomic nerve dysfunction, defecation and sexual dysfunction.

(4) Vertebral artery type cervical spondylosis

The main symptoms are headache and dizziness. Other symptoms include migraine, tinnitus, hearing loss and memory loss.
