Traditional flight interval
According to the China Civil Aviation Air Traffic Management Rules (CCAR-93TM-R2) No.86 promulgated by the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China.
Article 42 The minimum standard of wake interval depends on the type of aircraft. The types of aircraft in these rules are divided into the following three categories according to their maximum allowable takeoff weight:
(1) heavy aircraft: aircraft with the maximum allowable takeoff weight equal to or greater than136,000 kg;
(2) Medium-sized aircraft: aircraft with a maximum allowable takeoff weight of more than 7,000 kg and less than 1.36 million kg;
(3) Light aircraft: aircraft with a maximum allowable takeoff weight of 7,000 kg or less.
Article 46 The minimum standards of radar interval and wake interval before and after takeoff, departure, approach and landing of aircraft shall meet the following requirements:
(a) When the front machine is a heavy machine and the rear machine is a heavy machine, it shall be not less than 8km;
(2) When the front machine is a heavy machine and the rear machine is a medium machine, it shall not be less than10km;
(3) When the front machine is a heavy machine and the rear machine is a light machine, it shall not be less than12 km;
(four) when the front machine is a medium-sized machine and the rear machine is a heavy machine, it is not less than 6 kilometers;
(five) when the front machine is a medium-sized machine and the rear machine is a medium-sized machine, it is not less than 6 kilometers;
(six) when the front machine is a medium-sized machine and the rear machine is a light machine, it is not less than 10 km;
(seven) when the front machine is a light machine and the rear machine is a heavy machine, it is not less than 6 kilometers;
(eight) when the front machine is a light machine and the rear machine is a medium machine, it is not less than 6 kilometers;
(nine) when the front machine is a light machine and the rear machine is a light machine, it is not less than 6 kilometers.
The wake interval specified in the preceding paragraph is applicable to the use of the following runways:
(1) On the same runway, one aircraft flies at the same altitude or within 300 meters of another aircraft;
(2) Two aircrafts use the same runway or parallel runways with center lines less than 760m apart;
(three) crossing the runway, one plane crossing at the same height or within 300 meters below another plane.
At least 6 kilometers apart, that is, about 1 minute.
