Both Japanese and Koreans are keen on Chinese medicine. Why didn't the Japanese change their names to Japanese medicine, while the Koreans changed to Korean medicine!

Previously, both Japan and South Korea called Chinese medicine "China medicine", which means the medicine of Han nationality. At present, Japan is still called "traditional Chinese medicine", while South Korea renamed "traditional Chinese medicine" as "Korean medicine" in the 1960s and 1970s because of the rise of "nationalism" in order to strengthen national self-confidence and enhance national pride.
