What have you been reading this year and what have you gotten out of it?
From Alive, I gained the faith to face life bravely, to learn to grasp the present moment, not to give up the future because of past failures, and not to give up the present efforts because of the uncertainty of the future.
From A Brief History of the Future, I gained a profound view of history, realizing that history is a long and tortuous process, and that even if there are sometimes setbacks, as long as we persevere, we will eventually succeed.
From The Little Prince, I gained an attitude of cherishing friendship, learning to tolerate others, knowing how to cherish true friendship and not to be confused by material things.
From "Xinhua Dictionary", I gained a kind of rich vocabulary, learned more vocabulary and increased the ability of language expression.
From Poetry, Chinese History, The Analects of Confucius, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, I gained more knowledge about Chinese culture, learned more spirit and reasoning in traditional culture, and made me have a deeper understanding of Chinese culture.
