Western dining etiquette

Western dining etiquette is as follows:

1. The napkin is usually folded and placed in the center of the seat, so if you are not specifically told how to do it, you simply open it up and place it flat on your lap.

2. If you wanted to put the napkin away before you ate, then you would take your hand out, fold it, and put it on a bone tray, or in the corner of the table.

Oriental dining etiquette

1. Invite the guests to take their seats at the top table, then invite the elders to take their seats next to the guests, and so on. Enter from the left side of the chair, do not move the chopsticks after being seated, do not make any noise, do not get up and walk around, if there is something to greet the host.

2. Don't stick your chopsticks in the rice bowl or dish. Don't use chopsticks to knock the table of dishes after eating.

3, do not rummage around looking for your favorite dish and affect others eating. When you are asked to eat, ask someone to turn the plate first. If the plate is spinning too fast for you, wait until the plate stops.
