What are the main types of brick wall buildings?

Brick masonry assembly form is as follows:

1, Yi Shun Ding Yi. Bricklaying by skin is a common practice, and the vertical mortar joints of the upper and lower skins are staggered 1/4 brick length. It is characterized in that one skin is parallel to the brick (the long side of the brick is parallel to the length direction of the wall) and the other skin is laid at intervals (the long side of the brick is perpendicular to the length direction of the wall), and every other skin brick has the same mortar joint. This masonry method has good integrity and is often used in brick walls.

2, three shun and one ding. This is the most common masonry form, which consists of three-skin brick and one-skin brick. The upper and lower skin bricks overlap half brick, and the four skin bricks overlap brick 1/4 brick. Because there are longitudinal joints in the three-skin brick, the integrity is poor and the wall is difficult to control. However, this method of building blocks is very fast because there are more bricks along it.

3. Plum blossoms. This masonry method, also called sandbag masonry, is that the middle bricks and small bricks in each skin are laid at intervals, and the vertical joints of the upper and lower skin bricks are staggered 1/4 bricks. This method can stagger the internal and external vertical seams of each skin and has good integrity.

4. Two flat sides. The second flat side is also called 18 wall, and its assembly feature is that the upper and lower skins of the flat masonry layer are staggered by half a brick, and the flat masonry layer and the side masonry layer are staggered by 1/4 brick. This method is labor-intensive and inefficient, but it saves bricks and can be used as a load-bearing wall for buildings with smaller floors.

5. Transfer method. This method is only used to build walls half a brick thick.
