How long does it take to crack down?
Legal analysis: the strict fight is a Chinese judicial term, for the law from the heavy from the fast, "according to the law to severely crack down on criminal activities" short expression, is to solve a certain period of time in the prominent social security problems, and according to the law, to combat the activities of serious criminal offenses. Strike hard, short for a series of severe crackdowns on criminal activities in mainland China, initiated by Deng Xiaoping, Chairman of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China (CMC), Deng Xiaoping, pointed out to the Ministry of Public Security in Beidaihe on July 19, 1983, that "all kinds of serious criminal offenses should be cracked down on, and the sentences and executions should be heavier and quicker; striking hard means strengthening the Party's power of dictatorship, and that's what dictatorship is all about". The official definition is "not to copy the Western policy of "lightening the penalty", but the penalty should be heavier than that of the West, and should be strict and heavy in a controlled manner". Therefore, China's crackdowns are considered by Western countries and human rights organizations to be too severe. There have been four crackdowns in China: the concept of "crackdown" was first introduced in 1983 and the first "crackdown" was carried out; the second "crackdown" was carried out in 1996; and the third "crackdown" was carried out in 2000-2001, with the addition of online operations to track down fugitives, which is also known as the "crackdown of the new century". The fourth crackdown was in 2010. It coincides with the time of the four state-owned enterprise reforms.
