What are the stories of ancient imperial doctors in China?
A doctor is called an imperial doctor because he has something extraordinary. There is a kind of ability and wisdom beyond ordinary people, giving people a magical feeling. There were many imperial doctors in ancient China, whose magic was mainly manifested in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, which was incredible.
According to Records of the Historian, the Duke Cang of Emperor Wen of the Han Dynasty was a wonderful doctor. Someone has a headache, and Cang Gong feels the pulse for it. Think that the disease is very sinister and cannot be treated. He said to the patient's younger brother, "Your brother's gangrene will attack in the stomach and intestines soon, swell up five days later, and vomit and die eight days later." It turned out to be so. Zhang Zhongjing was also a great doctor in Han Dynasty. Once, he visited a doctor for a man named Wang Zhongxuan. Wang Zhongxuan was only 17 years old at that time. After reading it, Zhang Zhongjing said, "You are sick in your body. You should take Wushi Decoction, otherwise your eyebrows will fall off at the age of 3." Wang didn't believe it, didn't take medicine, and by the age of 3, all his eyebrows had fallen off. As for the imperial doctor Hua Tuo, it is a household name. A patient suffered from abdominal pain. After reading it, Hua Tuo said: Your illness is deeply rooted and should be treated by laparotomy. However, you have only ten years to live, and even if you are cured, your life will not be changed. At the patient's request, Hua Tuo treated him, but ten years later the man died.
the god of the imperial doctor is also reflected in the treatment. Many strange diseases and incurable diseases will come back to life when they are in the hands of doctors. During the Three Kingdoms period, there was a scholar named Zhang Quan, who was extremely poor. Because he suddenly got seven houses, he was extremely happy and had a hysterical laughter, which could not be cured for a long time. Later, accompanied by his father, he found Hua Tuo. Huatuo's first pulse shook his head and sighed, "You are sick and blind, and I can't cure you." The father and son were frightened to disgrace and knelt down for help. Hua Tuo said: My apprentice Wu Pu lives in Xuzhou. I'll write a letter and ask him for help. But don't open it on the way, and you must arrive within 1 days, otherwise your life will be hard to protect. It took them eight days to get there. Wu Pu laughed after reading the letter. It turned out that the letter said that people were laughing wildly because of joy, and the medicine was difficult to work. I deliberately said that he was critically ill and made him anxious. On the day they arrived in Xuzhou, they recovered. At this time, the Zhang family and his son realized that the hysterical laughter had been cured. From the point of view of modern science, this is actually a kind of psychotherapy. "Hua Tuo Biezhuan" also records that some people suffer from dizziness, which can't be cured for a long time. Hua tuo told him to undress, hang upside down, wipe his body with a wet cloth, and his pulse appeared five colors. He cut it with a knife, drained all the five colors of blood, and applied plaster, and the vertigo was cured. The strange cure is amazing.
Of course, the reason why the imperial doctors are so magical is mainly the result of their intensive medical skills and long-term practice. However, it does not rule out that these imperial doctors have a special talent and even have certain special functions. For example, the "inspection" of traditional Chinese medicine, for general doctors, may only be to observe the changes of skin color, the size of pupils and the thickness of tongue coating, while for imperial doctors, "inspection" is a potential form of communication, which is manifested in the induction between subject and object. Bian Que had this function in the Spring and Autumn Period. According to Historical Records, Bian Que once ran an inn when he was a teenager. Among the guests, there is a man named Chang Sangjun who has a close relationship with him. Once Chang Sanjun wanted to teach Bian Que a secret cure. He took out a medicine from his towel and said, "You should eat these medicines with rain that has not fallen to the ground, and after 3 days, you can see things that ordinary people can't see." Then he handed the books with the secret recipe to Bian Que, and Bian Que took the medicine according to Chang Sangjun's words, and after 3 days, he could meet people across the wall. Seeing a doctor with this vision, all the crux of the patient's body can be vividly seen. In addition, Zhang Zhongjing and Hua Tuo usually practice Qigong, and some superhuman potentials may be induced. Plus studious and diligent, highly respected and skilled, he became a generation of imperial doctors.
