Information on Soviet aid to China in World War II
In August this year, CCTV broadcasted 10 episode of TV movie "Far East Task Force". The prototype of the Far East Task Force was a "China Brigade" of the Soviet Red Army during World War II, and they made great contributions to the liberation of Northeast China. A few days ago, 89-year-old former "China Brigade" officer Peng Shilu told this little-known and thrilling past. ...
Surrounded by the Japanese army, the anti-Japanese alliance moved to the Soviet Union.
Peng Shilu is now a retired general of the China People's Liberation Army. According to him, the official name of "China Brigade" is "88th Independent Infantry Brigade of Red Flag Army in the Far East of the Soviet Union". On the eve of the Soviet invasion of Northeast China, this team sent several reconnaissance teams to go deep into Northeast China for reconnaissance, paving the way for the Soviet Red Army to fully attack Northeast China.
1938 is the most difficult period of the anti-Japanese struggle in Northeast China. Hundreds of thousands of Japanese troops launched a brutal encirclement and suppression campaign against the anti-Japanese allied forces in Northeast China, and the number of anti-Japanese allied forces dropped sharply from more than 40,000 at the end of 1937 to more than 5,000 at 1938. At that time, Shi Lu served as the director of the Political Department of the First Division of the Seventh Army of the Anti-Union. He said that the grim situation reminded the anti-Japanese Coalition forces of the Soviet Union, which is separated from the northeast by a river. So, from the autumn of 1939, Zhao Shangzhi, Zhou Baozhong and Feng Zhongyun, leaders of the anti-United Movement, went to the Soviet Union to look for them.
Ask for help. Due to the increasingly frequent activities of the Japanese Kwantung Army on the Sino-Soviet border, the Soviet Union was in urgent need of Japanese information, so it was very enthusiastic about Zhao Shangzhi and others. 1940 65438+1On October 24th, the generals of the anti-Japanese coalition held talks with Soviet representatives in Khabarovsk, the far eastern city of the Soviet Union, and the two sides reached an agreement: "In the future, when the ministries of the anti-Japanese coalition lost in battle or needed to be temporarily transferred to the Soviet Union for other reasons, the Soviet Union should accept and provide convenience."
From the autumn and winter of 1940, about 700 anti-United soldiers were transferred to the Soviet Union. They formed a unified "Northeast Anti-Japanese Coalition Teaching Brigade".
Stalin instructed the Anti-Union to be incorporated into the Soviet army.
Under Stalin's personal questioning, the Soviet side proposed that the "Northeast Anti-Japanese Coalition Teaching Brigade" be included in the official establishment of the Soviet Red Army.
On August 1942 and 1 day, anti-Union soldiers changed into Soviet military uniforms, and the "88th Independent Infantry Brigade of the Soviet Red Flag Army in the Far East" was formally established. Brigadier, battalion commander, company commander and other positions are all held by anti-Union officers, while the deputy positions are held by Soviet representatives. Zhou Baozhong is the brigade commander, and Peng Shilu is the company commander of the 2nd Battalion and 3rd Company.
The relationship between the officers and men of the two countries is very harmonious. With the help of the Soviet Union, the soldiers of the 88th Brigade not only learned basic skills such as fighting and assassination, but also received skydiving and skiing training.
"China Brigade" sneaked back to the northeast to spy on information.
According to the plan made by the 88th Brigade and the Soviet Union,1in July, 945, an airborne reconnaissance unit consisting of more than 100 China soldiers sneaked back to the northeast of China. Subsequently, this unit was quickly divided into several detachments and went deep into various places for strategic reconnaissance to prepare for the Soviet Red Army to send troops to the Northeast before the war.
1945 during July and August, the scouts not only found out the military deployment of the Japanese Kwantung Army, but also completed many tasks such as assassination and destruction. One of the most legendary events was that the "first gun in Asia" blew up the Tiger Fort. Gun body diameter 1 m, muzzle diameter 4 1 cm, gun length about 20 meters, charge 1 ton. A shell is 4 meters long and has a maximum range of 20 kilometers. At that time, the muzzle of this kind of cannon reached the Iman railway bridge and Lazo water tower in the Soviet Union, posing a great threat to the Soviet Union. 1July, 945, on the eve of the Soviet general attack, a detachment of the 88th Brigade infiltrated into the Hutou Fortress and blew the "first gun in Asia".
"China Brigade" completed its historical mission.
1On August 8, 945, the Soviet Union officially declared war on Japan. In the early morning of the next day, millions of Soviet Red Army soldiers broke into the northeast of China in four ways and launched a general attack on the Japanese Kwantung Army. On August 15, Japan officially announced its surrender.
Marshal Aleksandr Aleksandr Vasilevsky, then commander-in-chief of the Soviet Far East Army, sent a congratulatory message to the 88th Brigade, thanking the China soldiers for the information they exchanged with their lives and blood, which played an important role in the Far East Army's attack on the Japanese Kwantung Army.
Since then, China soldiers of the 88th Brigade have been divided into 57 groups and assigned to large and medium-sized cities in northeast China to help the Soviet Red Army take over local political power and serve as deputy commanders of the Soviet garrison in various places. After all the Soviet troops withdrew from the Northeast, most of the soldiers of the 88th Brigade began to work in local governments or armies all over the Northeast. At this point, the "China Brigade" has completed its mission.
