How to set navigation gestures on OPPO cell phones

Navigation keys (navigation gestures) are navigation gestures used when using the phone's "back to previous level, back to the desktop, view recent tasks, switch to the latest task" and other operations, the main two sides of the slide gesture (full-screen gestures), the virtual keys and the upward slide gesture.

ColorOS 13 and above: The navigation keys provide both full-screen gestures and virtual buttons for navigation.

You can go to your phone's "Settings > Other Settings > System Navigation Methods" to set your desired navigation method.

ColorOS version 12-12.1: The navigation key provides two navigation methods: full-screen gestures and virtual buttons.

You can go to "Settings > System Settings > System Navigation Mode" to set your desired navigation mode.

ColorOS version 11.2-11.3: The navigation key provides two navigation methods: full-screen gesture and virtual button.

You can go to "Settings > Convenience Tools > Navigation Mode" to set your desired navigation mode.

ColorOS version 11.0-11.1: The navigation key provides three navigation methods: swipe on both sides, virtual button, and swipe up.

You can go to "Settings > Convenience Tools > Navigation ＞ (More)" to set your desired navigation method.

ColorOS 7.0-7.2: The navigation key provides three navigation methods: swipe on both sides, virtual button, and swipe up.

You can go to "Settings > Convenience Tools (Convenience Aids) > Navigation Keys" on your phone to set your desired navigation method.

1. Swipe gestures on both sides (full-screen gestures):

(1) Go back to the previous level: Swipe inward from the left or lower right side of the screen.

(2) Back to desktop: swipe up from the bottom of the screen.

(3) View recent tasks: swipe up from the bottom of the screen and stay.

(4) Switch recent apps: swipe left or right from the bottom of the screen.

(5) Learn to use gestures: enter the use gesture learning scene. (This feature is available in ColorOS 11 and above.)

(6) Hide gesture indicator bar: the lower gesture indicator bar is hidden.

(7) Vibrate on return: the phone vibrates when returning to the previous level.

(8) Switch previous app: Swipe inward from both sides of the screen and stay to switch to the previous app.

(9) Slide gestures on both sides to prevent accidental touch in landscape: When some apps (such as games) are in full screen in landscape, the gestures need 2 swipes to take effect.

2. Virtual keys:

(1) When the function is turned on, virtual keys are displayed at the bottom of the phone screen.

(2) The virtual keys can be hidden.

ColorOS 7-7.2: Turn on the "Virtual buttons can be hidden" switch and display "⊙" on the left side of the virtual button bar. Tap "⊙" to hide the virtual buttons. You can call out the hidden virtual keys by going up in portrait or left in landscape.

ColorOS 11 and above: Remove the "virtual buttons can be hidden" switch and related functions, when the virtual buttons are hidden, you can call out the virtual buttons by going up on the vertical screen or left on the horizontal screen.

3. Slide up gesture:

(1) Slide up to return to the previous level: Slide up from the bottom of the screen to return to the previous level.

(2) slide up to return to the desktop: slide up from the bottom center of the screen to return to the desktop.

(3) Swipe up to stay for recent tasks: Swipe up from the bottom center of the screen to stay for 1 second to view multitasking.

(4) Hide Gesture Bar: The bottom gesture bar is hidden.

(5) Swipe up gesture landscape anti-false touch: when some apps (such as games) are in landscape full screen, the gesture needs 2 swipes to take effect.

Warm tips:

① ColorOS 11.2 and above: the navigation key eliminates the upward sliding gesture, and retains the two sides of the sliding gesture (full-screen gesture) and the virtual button navigation.

② ColorOS 11.2 or lower version of the phone through the "cell phone moving" function, the data migration to ColorOS 11.2 and above, you can realize the ColorOS 11.2 and above version of the phone with the navigation key upward gesture navigation.
