Inheritance and Development of Fish Lantern

Dragon lanterns, horse racing lanterns and fish lanterns are all traditional programs of the Han nationality in Shipu, which are deeply loved by fishermen.

The dancing fish lantern originated from the fish totem dance in primitive society. Zhang Heng's Ode to Xijing in the Eastern Han Dynasty recorded fish-shaped dragons and dragon-shaped fish vividly. It can be seen that 1700 years ago, in Chang 'an, Kyoto, Western Han Dynasty, fish lanterns, dragon lanterns and ichthyosaur literature and art were in full swing.
