Temperature: Scorpions like warmth. When mating with females, the temperature should be kept at about 37℃. Feeding in groups: Young scorpions need 25-35℃ and adult scorpions need 35-40℃, so they need to be fed in groups. Management: Choose cement floor, hang wet curtain in the cement pool, keep the air humidity, and there can be no water on the floor. Warm the scorpion room with heating in winter.
Tips: Scorpions belong to wild protected animals. Protect wild animals from themselves, refuse to buy and sell wild animal products, and do not interfere with the free life of wild animals. At present, the consumption of precious and endangered wild animals in society is not only a bad social atmosphere, but also one of the reasons why illegal hunting and killing of precious and endangered wild animals are repeatedly prohibited. If you don't buy or sell, you won't be killed. Put an end to eating wild animals. They don't belong to the table.
First, how to raise scorpions
1, suitable temperature
Scorpions like warm environment. When male and female scorpions mate, the temperature of the scorpion room should be controlled at 37℃.
Step 2 feed in groups
Young and adult scorpions need to be raised separately because of their different temperature requirements. The temperature required for young scorpions is 25-35℃, and that for adult scorpions is 35-40℃.
Step 3 manage
(1) The Scorpion House can choose cement floor or ordinary land floor, and hang wet curtains in the cement pool to keep the humidity.
(2) There can be no water on the ground, which will affect the life of scorpions.
(3) Pay attention to the warmth of the scorpion room in winter, and use heating to keep warm.
(4) Scorpions are afraid of light, water, wind and cold, and like to live in a dry and warm environment. Therefore, it is necessary to keep proper humidity and warmth in the scorpion room when raising, and then feed special feed to make the scorpion grow normally.
Second, the breeding technology and market prospect of scorpions
1, culture and technology
(1) farm construction
① Take raising scorpions in ponds as an example. Scorpions can be built indoors or outdoors. The height of the pond is 0.5m, the width is 1m, and the length depends on the actual situation. The outer wall of the pond is blocked with a small amount of mortar to prevent scorpions from escaping from the cracks.
(2) On the inside of the pool surface near the top opening, smooth materials such as glass and ceramic tiles should be embedded before the plastered mortar dries to prevent scorpions from escaping from the top opening.
③ In the center of the pond, about 15cm away from the periphery, a multi-layer stack with a gap of about 1.5cm was paved with bricks and stones for scorpions to inhabit.
(2) Introduction
① Time: introduction in late spring, early summer or autumn, especially in late spring and early summer.
② Source of breeding scorpions: First, go to the artificial scorpion farm to buy; Second, catch wild scorpions or buy wild scorpions as breeding scorpions.
③ Selection of Scorpions: Choose male scorpions with strong physique, bright body color, liveliness and strong sexual desire, and female scorpions with body length above 4.8cm, strong limbs, quick movements, curled back abdomen, enlarged front abdomen and shiny skin at rest.
④ Male-female ratio: the ratio of male and female scorpions is 2-3: 1.
⑤ Transportation: The imported tools are cartons and nontoxic woven bags, with a density of 500 pieces per bag. Put some wet sponges in the carton filled with sponges to adjust the humidity in the carton. There should be several ventilation holes in the upper part of the carton for ventilation. Avoid violent vibration during transportation, and pay attention to preventing high temperature in summer and cold in winter.
(3) culture method
① Daylighting: build a scorpion house in a place with high foundation and plenty of sunshine.
(2) Humidity: In dry season, add water to the reservoir on the scorpion stack to make the nest soil moist, and cover the scorpion shed with plastic sheets in rainy days to prevent the accumulated water from washing away the scorpion stack. Scorpion's activity place should be damp, the relative humidity of air is 80%, and the humidity in the nest should not be too high, and it should be 10- 12%.
③ Temperature: The suitable temperature for growth is 20-39℃. When the temperature is 20-39℃, it can stimulate appetite, grow fast, and the peel is smooth, which is also the temperature for mating and reproduction. The hibernation temperature should be kept at 3-6℃, and the hibernation time can be shortened by heating with plastic sheets in late spring and autumn.
④ Feed: Tenebrio molitor can be fed. Scorpions prefer insects that are high in protein and low in fat, soft and juicy, lively and active, and don't like insects that are rancid, have a special smell, are dead and slow to move.
(4) Control pests and diseases
① Spot mold (scorpion lice disease) often occurs due to humid environment, high air humidity and moldy food. It is necessary to isolate the diseased scorpions in time and feed them with long-acting sulfanilamide1-/kloc-0.5g and compound feed 1000g until they are cured.
(2) Black rot (body rot), mainly caused by feeding rotten feed, dirty water or eating dead scorpions with black rot, can be treated with Chinese herbal medicine Galla Chinensis at a daily dose of 0.2-0.5g/kg body weight, and regularly disinfect the culture area with 1-2% formalin solution to keep the feed and drinking water fresh.
③ Hemiplegia (cauda equina) mostly occurs in the wet season in late summer and early autumn, mainly due to long-term feeding of high-fat feed, which leads to a large accumulation of body fat. The diseased scorpion has bright body, big limbs and slow movements, and generally begins to die after 5- 10 days of onset. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent it by not feeding or feeding less feed with high fat content. After the onset, you can fast for 3-5 days or use 3g of rhubarb soda tablets, 50g of bran (fried) and 60g of water to feed evenly until you are cured.
④ Abdominal distension mostly occurs in rainy periods in early spring and autumn, mainly due to low temperature and indigestion caused by scorpion catching cold. At ordinary times, the feeding temperature is kept at 25-39℃, and the sick scorpion is fed with multienzyme tablets, female scorpion 18g, sulfanilamide tablets 0. 1g and compound feed 100g, and then stirred evenly until it is cured.
⑤ Ants will not only compete with scorpions for food, but also eat young scorpions, weak scorpions and sick scorpions, so they need to be lured away with bones and sugar, and then scalded to death with boiling water.
2. Market prospect
(1) Scorpions are often used as medicinal materials. At present, there are about 60 kinds of medical supplies made of scorpions, and the United States, Japan, Singapore, India and other countries that use medical scorpions all need to import scorpions from China, so scorpions have a certain market abroad.
(2) At present, the number of wild scorpions has dropped sharply, and the output can only reach 10% of the market demand, so the market is extremely scarce. The artificial breeding of scorpions can not only protect wild resources, but also meet the needs of domestic and foreign markets. At the same time, raising scorpions has the advantages of less investment, quick effect, low labor intensity and no pollution, so the prospect of raising scorpions artificially is broad.
