Simple tutorial for children's leaf paper cutting

Teach children to make leaf paper cutouts, first fold the paper, then draw a picture, then cut, this is the easiest, children learn fast, here is how to make a leaf paper cutout.

Tools/Materials

Paper, pen

Prepare paper, pen, scissors.

Since leaves are symmetrical, start by folding the paper in half.

With a pen, draw half a peach heart shape on the left side of the paper to represent the edge of the leaf.

Underneath the leaf, draw an upside-down 7, which is the petiole.

In the center of the leaf, draw the shape of three fish spines that are connected on the left side. These fish spines represent the leaf veins.

Use scissors to cut out the leaf veins in the center fishbone shape.

Then cut off the leaf along the right edge of the leaf and petiole.

Open the paper up to a symmetrical leaf. This is not a difficult cut, however, be careful not to cut the center leaf vein when you cut it.
