China Arts and Crafts Masters Selection Criteria

(1) Traditional arts and crafts are divided into eleven categories: craft carving, craft ceramics, craft printing and dyeing, craft embroidery, craft weaving, craft carpet weaving, lacquer craft, craft furniture, metal craft, jewelry craft and other crafts.

(two) the varieties and skills included in the evaluation of the current traditional arts and crafts masters shall meet the following conditions:

1, the history exceeds 100 years;

2, exquisite skills, handed down from generation to generation, self-contained;

3. The works are mainly made of natural materials, using traditional techniques and techniques, and the works are mainly hand-made;

4. It has distinctive national style and local characteristics;

5. Enjoy a good reputation at home and abroad. (a) the applicant shall be a person directly engaged in the design and production of the above-mentioned traditional arts and crafts, and meet the following conditions:

1, patriotic and dedicated, law-abiding, virtuous and artistic, with no bad reputation record;

2. Professionals who have been engaged in the design and production of traditional arts and crafts for more than 20 years (including 20 years);

3. Rich creative experience and profound traditional cultural and artistic accomplishment, comprehensive and exquisite skills, excellent creation and unique style, and artistic achievements have been recognized by the industry and are well-known at home and abroad;

4. Outstanding contributions in the inheritance, excavation, protection, development and personnel training of traditional arts and crafts;

5, the provincial people's government or the provincial competent department of industry recognized the title of master of arts and crafts; Those who have not carried out the evaluation of provincial arts and crafts masters shall have the title of senior arts and crafts masters evaluated by the provincial human resources and social security departments in accordance with the unified provisions of the state.

(2) Applicants who do not meet the above-mentioned second and fifth conditions, but master unique skills or stunts, or master endangered skills in ethnic minority areas, are allowed to make an exception, but they should be strictly controlled.
