The development of Tang opera

The development process of Tang opera can be roughly divided into three periods of conception, formation and development. From the late 1910s to the late 1950s, it was the gestation stage of Tang opera. Because the shadow singing is very expressive, and has a deep mass base in the rural areas of Jidong. During the War of Liberation, some revolutionary literary groups, such as the Jidong Lunan Literary Troupe and the Twelve Prefectural Committees' Literary Troupe, in order to cooperate with the War of Liberation, began to put some of the shadow puppets on the stage to reflect the reality of the struggle and the modern characters. After the founding of the country, in the amateur literary stage, shadow puppets are used in small opera, small singing situation, it is more common.

From 1959 to 1963, it was a period of formation and refinement of shadow singing into Tang opera. The full-scale stage production of shadow singing was carried out at the Tangshan Opera School. The initial experimental repertoire was "Look at the Family Book" (a twist of "Five Fronts Meeting") and "The Book of the Golden Fish". After the initial results, and then through the "Broken Bridge", "Jingde Weeping Horse", "Xianglopa" and other plays for experimentation, and the experimental repertoire to Changli, Luanxian, Leting and other counties to perform, won the warm welcome of the masses. Since then, Tang opera was born.

Tang opera was framed as "Jidong anti-party group of imperial tools", forced to withdraw. 1970, in the crowd's strong demand, renamed "shadow play" back on stage. The Central People's Broadcasting Station and Beijing Television successively broadcast the opera singing recordings to the whole country, and since then it has had an impact on the whole country. During this period, Leiting County also set up a professional theater troupe, and has created and performed the "Bohai Spring Tide", "sea red whistle", etc. July 28, 1976 Tangshan earthquake, the main cast of the Tang opera nearly half of the victims, so that the development of the Tang opera has been seriously impacted. 1979, the shadow play to restore the name of the Tang opera.

Tang Opera Characteristics

Tang Opera's main musical instrument is the copper cylinder four hu, cylinder length 15 centimeters, the diameter of six point six centimeters, belonging to the middle and high instruments. It is a medium-high soprano instrument that requires metal finger cuffs for playing, and has a beautiful and chic sound, long for lyricism, but low in volume. Tang Opera's singing voice and line
