Can the national flag be hung casually?

Legal analysis: the five-star red flag can't be hung casually, and hanging the national flag must comply with the provisions of the National Flag Law.

According to the relevant provisions of the National Flag Law, state organs and people's organizations at all levels should display the national flag on National Day, International Labor Day, New Year's Day and Spring Festival. Conditional enterprises and institutions, villagers' committees, residents' committees, urban residents' houses (buildings), squares, parks and other public places may display the national flag. At the same time, it should be raised in the morning and lowered at night. No damaged, defaced, faded or substandard national flag shall be hoisted. At the same time, when the national flag and other flags are hoisted at the same time, the national flag should be placed in the center, higher or prominent position.

Seventh National Day, International Labor Day, New Year's Day, Spring Festival and National Constitution Day and other important festivals and anniversaries, state organs at all levels, people's organizations, large squares, parks and other public places should display the national flag; Enterprises and institutions, villagers' committees, residents' committees and residential buildings (buildings, communities) where conditions permit shall display the national flag.

The national flag shall be hoisted on the anniversary of the establishment of national autonomous areas and major national traditional festivals.

When a constitutional oath ceremony is held, the national flag shall be hung at the swearing-in place.

Article 13 If the national flag is hoisted in accordance with the provisions of Articles 5, 6 and 7 of this Law, it shall be hoisted early and lowered late.

If the national flag should be hoisted in accordance with the provisions of this law, it may not be hoisted in case of bad weather.
