Introduction of Yandongguan Acanthopanax Bark Wine
Yandongguan Wujiapi wine is a traditional famous wine of Han nationality in jiande city, Zhejiang Province. It was named after it was produced in Dongguan (now Meicheng Town, Jiande), the ancient state capital of Zhejiang Province. Legend has it that it was created in the Tang Dynasty, and there is also a story among the people that Li Bai shared Acanthopanax wine with Hermit Spring when he visited Xin 'anjiang. Yandongguan Wujiapi wine is based on pure grain liquor, soaked in precious Chinese herbal medicines such as Acanthopanax senticosus, Radix Codonopsis, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Fructus Chaenomelis, Fructus Amomi and Cortex Cinnamomi, and then carefully blended with glutinous rice mead and white sugar. The wine is mellow, reddish brown and golden in color. The wine stains stick to the cup, which has the effects of eliminating fatigue, promoting blood circulation and eliminating dampness, replenishing essence and marrow, strengthening body constitution and prolonging life. From June 5438 to February 2006, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine approved the implementation of geographical indication product protection for Yandongguan Wujiapi wine.
