Why are ancient villages in southern Anhui called world heritage?

Li Bai, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty, once praised: "yi county's small Taoyuan is a hundred miles away. There are many plants and trees and people still wear ancient clothes. Xidi and Hongcun, two traditional ancient villages, have largely maintained the features of those villages that disappeared or changed in the last century. Its streets and lanes, ancient buildings and decorations, and houses with complete water supply systems are all very unique cultural relics.
