Can old bamboo mats be woven into baskets? How come?

1. First, prepare old bamboo mats, scissors and some bamboo ropes.

2. Secondly, cut off the two ends of the summer sleeping mat, cross-weave horizontally until a square basket bottom is formed, and tie the bamboo rope through the intersection of the basket bottom and fix it together.

Finally, cut the rest of the mat into bamboo strips and start weaving baskets. Pass the bamboo pieces through the intersection of the bottom of the basket in turn, then weave vertically upwards until the height of the basket meets the requirements, and then tie the upper part of the basket with bamboo ropes.
