When machining surfacing parts, the HRC60 is about 60 degrees, and the unilateral allowance is 2mm. What kind of tools should I use?

Hardness material HRC60, which can't be turned by traditional cemented carbide tools, has a unilateral allowance of 2mm and belongs to rough turning. This kind of surfacing parts can be turned by BN-S20 tool. BN-S20 is a cubic boron nitride superhard material, which is very suitable for processing spray welding surfacing parts, thermal spraying parts, laser cladding parts, roller repair and so on. These hardware pieces that need to be turned by a large margin, with a 2mm thick blade, can be solved with one knife.

It is also not recommended to use the diamond tools mentioned above. Diamond tools are used to process non-metallic materials and non-ferrous metals, and are not suitable for processing ferrous metals. Ceramic tools can be used for finish turning, but their hardness is too high. Rough turning ceramics is inefficient, the surfacing part is unbalanced and easy to collapse. The most suitable material is BN-S20.
