Administrative Measures for the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Linfen City

Chapter II Protection of intangible cultural heritage duties Article 9 municipal, county (city, district) people's government departments in charge of culture to perform the following duties:

(5) establishing a pool of experts on intangible cultural heritage, providing professional consultation and evaluation and argumentation for the protection and preservation of intangible cultural heritage at this level;

( (vi) managing special funds for the safeguarding of the intangible cultural heritage and supervising the use thereof;

Article 11 The relevant departments of the people's governments of cities and counties (cities and districts) shall do a good job of protecting intangible cultural heritage in accordance with the following duties:

(vi) the tourism department is responsible for publicizing and promoting the representative projects of intangible cultural heritage related to tourism;
(vii) the public security department is responsible for investigating and dealing with the encroachment on, destruction of, and damages to the intangible cultural heritage
(viii) the water conservancy department is responsible for coordinating the protection of intangible cultural heritage in the construction of water conservancy;
(ix) the nationalities and religions department is responsible for coordinating the protection of intangible cultural heritage related to nationalities and religions;
(x) other relevant departments are responsible for the protection of the intangible cultural heritage within their respective areas of responsibility.
