What are the similarities and differences between modern literary language and traditional literary language?

The difference between it and China ancient vernacular and modern folk spoken language lies not in words, but in the language system. The vernacular Chinese of the May 4th Movement is the later "national language", that is, modern Chinese. It is the same writing system as ancient Chinese, but it is two different language systems. On the level of language tools, there is no fundamental difference between ancient Chinese and modern Chinese, but the fundamental difference between them lies in the level of language as ideological thinking and world outlook. The ancient system in China determines the ancient materials of ancient culture and literature, while the modern system in China determines the modernity of modern culture and literature. In the ancient Chinese system with classical Chinese as the basic language form, the ancient vernacular existed as a tool language, while in the modern Chinese system, the modern vernacular existed more as an ideological language.
