Huangposterity memorial hall

In the history of painting in China in the 20th century, Huang was a painter who connected the past with the future. He personally practiced the dynamic process of the inheritance, evolution and development of China traditional culture, left extraordinary and colorful landscape painting art for future generations, and created a "vigorous and colorful" modern aesthetic realm with profound China traditional cultural connotation and aesthetic value. His profound reflection on tradition, unique aesthetic feeling, reconstruction of the form of pen and ink, and development of the aesthetic realm of "inner beauty" of Chinese painting have had a far-reaching impact on China's later paintings, which also established his position as a modern painter.

Today, China art has entered a new historical period. This exhibition and publication aims to comprehensively sort out and present Mr. Huang's great creation and innovation in Chinese painting creation from more than 100 important works in various periods through exhibitions, publications and academic discussions with the strictest academic standards, and to show his immortal contribution in the history of modern art in China. As the organizer of this exhibition, Hangzhou Huang Academic Research Association participated in the whole process of examining and checking the exhibits, and was also supported by China Artists Association and Xiling Printing Society. Finally, outstanding works representing Mr. Huang's artistic achievements were selected to participate in this exhibition. I hope this commemorative activity will have a positive impact on the development of contemporary art in China.
