What is the difference between lcd and oled?
Relative to traditional LCD, OLED screen provides more vivid colors, lower power consumption and thinner screen thickness, providing a better visual experience. However, in some extreme cases, such as when displaying the same high-contrast color for a long period of time at high brightness, OLED screens may experience screen "burn-in" (a residual image on the screen that may fade away after a period of time). If the static screen is too long, resulting in pixel aging, the screen will cause irreparable "burn-in" phenomenon. Due to the nature and limitations of OLEDs, please avoid displaying static images at maximum brightness for long periods of time.
ASUS MYASUS now supports ASUS OLED Care. Search for and open MYASUS, go to the Hardware Settings icon, scroll down to the bottom, and turn on "ASUS OLED Care".
When it's turned on, ASUS OLED Care automatically starts after 30 minutes of inactivity, which greatly reduces the chance of OLED screen degradation.
