2. Brief introduction of Lusheng: Lusheng is a Lusheng musical instrument of Miao, Yao and Dong people in southwest China. Originated in the Central Plains, and later developed in minority areas, its predecessor was Yu. Villages inhabited by ethnic minorities all over Guizhou are known as "the hometown of Lusheng" and "the hometown of singing and dancing". Lusheng is one of the ancient musical instruments especially loved by ethnic minorities. On holidays, they will hold various colorful Lusheng parties, play Lusheng and dance to celebrate their national festivals.
3. History: According to literature, Lusheng has a history of more than 3,000 years. In The Book of Songs, the earliest collection of poems in China, there appeared the poem "blowing sheng drum spring, blowing sheng blowing sheng drum spring". According to archaeological findings, two Hulusheng unearthed in Lijiashan, Jiangchuan during the Warring States Period are one of the earliest sheng instruments in China.
