Up to now, Wuqinxi has formed different schools, each with its own differences. In Bozhou, Anhui, my hometown, now it is mainly the Wuqin Opera spread by Dong and Liu.

Dong's wuqinxi:

Dong inherited 54 movements (tiger play 13, deer play 9, bear play 9, ape play 10, bird play 13). In addition, there are three kinds of exercises, namely mutual training, mutual training, monkey beating and stupid bear beating, crane beating and simplified/relaxed five-bird beating (three strokes for each stroke, *** 15 style). Among them, the third movement of tiger, deer, bear and ape is pranayama, and the third movement of bird play is flying crane. Its movements are relatively simple and elegant.

Among them, hua tuo wuqinxi has 40 moves with his bare hands (8 styles per play); Hua Tuo's Sword of Five-Animal Play was created by Liu on the basis of traditional Five-Animal Play, combined with his own personal experience in practicing Five-Animal Play, digging deep into the historical materials of Five-Animal Play, collecting the essence of skills extensively, and after continuous research and revision. ***44 style (tiger play 8 style, deer play 8 style, bear play 8 style, ape play 10 style, bird play 10 style).
