British education system

In Britain, all people must receive compulsory education between the ages of five and sixteen. This is the shortest time for students to go to school. School-age children must go to school and the state is responsible for the necessary expenses. Higher education refers to undergraduate, master and doctoral education provided by universities and colleges. British higher education has the most famous and oldest institutions in the world, attracting many international students.
