China Intangible Cultural Heritage Day: On December 22, 2005, the State Council issued the "Notice of the State Council on Strengthening the Protection of Cultural Heritage", requiring further strengthening of the protection of cultural heritage.

One of the important measures is to decide that starting from 2006, the second Saturday of June every year will be China's Cultural Heritage Day.

Intangible Cultural Heritage: (Intangible Cultural Heritage) refers to various traditional cultural expressions that are passed down from generation to generation by people of all ethnic groups and regarded as part of their cultural heritage, as well as physical objects and places related to traditional cultural expressions.

Intangible cultural heritage is an important symbol of the historical and cultural achievements of a country and a nation, and an important part of China's excellent traditional culture.

"Intangible cultural heritage" is opposite to "material cultural heritage", and they are collectively called "cultural heritage".
