In May 2000, it passed the ISO9002 quality certification system, and its export business covered more than 30 countries and regions around the world, including Asia, Europe, America, Africa and Australia, and signed long-term cooperation agreements with famous companies in Korea, America and Europe. At present, the main export products are wire rod, rebar, plate, shipbuilding plate, billet and so on. With the implementation of the strategic adjustment of Shougang's product structure and the commissioning of Caofeidian project, from 2007, Shougang's export products will be expanded to high-tech and high value-added products such as hot-rolled plates (coils), cold-rolled plates (coils) and hot-dip galvanized plates.

At present, Shougang International Trade Department exports more than 2 million tons of steel every year, ranking the top three in the export of iron and steel enterprises in China.
