1, gold dumplings

Every winter solstice, Yongkang people will make some gold dumplings with glutinous rice flour, which are not only eaten by themselves, but also used to worship ancestors. It looks simple, but it takes a lot of work to make it. Traditionally, they are made by pounding Qingming grass and kneading it into the glutinous rice flour. When steaming, it is best to use March laurel (the scientific name of mountain alum) to make the padding, and at the winter solstice, they are mostly made with asparagus as the stuffing. In addition, the leaves of the March osmanthus should be fried in oil, so that the steamed golden dough is not sticky each other and especially fragrant.

2, Yangmei fruit cake

Yangmei fruit cake is actually composed of glutinous rice cake and Yangmei fruit.
