Folk customs along the Yellow River

Dongying city

Dongying City is a new city that rises with the development of Shengli Oilfield, including Dongying and Hekou, and Guangrao, Lijin and Kenli counties where the Yellow River flows into the Bohai Sea.

Petroleum city

More than 20 years ago, the Yellow River estuary was sparsely populated. The pioneers described their life as "walking a wide road and listening to ducks". In fact, there is no way for you to walk in the grass. "Duck Basket" is a kind of lark, which sings hundreds of times in the wilderness, answering each other, good and bad, and only sings the wilderness more empty.

After nearly 30 years of development by oil workers, great changes have taken place in the Yellow River estuary. Although reeds can still be seen everywhere today, asphalt roads extending in all directions are paved among reeds, the lineup of oil presses stands in the wilderness, and the sound of machines is everywhere.

A new oil city has risen on the saline-alkali land. The city grew up near a small village.

It is called Dongying, and the city is named after Dongying. Dongying city has the spirit of all corners of the country. People came from all directions for the oil war, and there was no "soil"

",it formed a new custom according to the character of oil workers.

There is a tall iron gate in Gudong oil-producing area, decorated with red paint. Workers call it "Dahongmen". There is a song that says, "When you enter Dahongmen, you are all from Gudong." There is no other prejudice at all. This can be regarded as a representative mentality of Dongying people.

The ancient cave was originally near the sea, and there was only one willow tree on the saline-alkali land. The driver drove the car and parked it in the distance

A willow tree is the target, and everyone knows this tree. Today, this place is conveniently called "a tree in Azuma Tani". Although the name of this place is very long, everyone likes it. Some people open restaurants next to trees, linking place names with their own names. The signboard is "A Tree in Azuma Tani XX Hotel".

The habit of hitchhiking is to stand on the side of the road and wave whenever you see a big car or a small car. There are many drivers.

I'm going to stop for a while. This is the habit of oilfield workers. There are modern buildings and streets in the urban area, but parking at red lights, cars, jeeps,

Trucks, buses and trucks, underground cars and trolleybuses can all be arranged together. The history of this city is very short. Not long ago, there was a military horse farm on the isolated island of the Yellow River Estuary, which is now a farm.

Brewing a grain wine is rarely known to outsiders. Dongying people love to drink it, commonly known as "Racecourse Wine". From the perspective of folklore, everything in Dongying should be well recorded, which embodies a new city.

The formation process of custom.

xianhe town

Xianhe Town is a town in the lower reaches of the Yellow River, and it is the living area of employees in Shengli Oilfield. Surrounded by endless reeds, this town is the most beautiful building and street today.

199 1 year 1 October1day, the town's famous monument, with a brief introduction engraved on the high marble monument: xianhe town is located on the delta alluvial fan at the end of the Yellow River, with the Yellow River as its neighbor and the Bohai Sea as its companion.

Dongying is about seventy kilometers. The town is planned and designed by Shanghai Tongji University 1983, with a planned area of 525 hectares. It consists of office area, public building system and 8 residential quarters, with a total design area of about 900,000 square meters. 1984 started in may.

Most business service units in the town are named after cranes: crane shopping mall, crane cinema and crane hotel? The name of Xianhe also has its origin: the Yellow River has been diverted to the estuary, and once diverted, the old river has formed a tidal zone. No matter how stormy the sea is, once a ship enters this ancient river, it will be calm and ensure peace. Therefore, the fishermen's crew called it "fairy ditch". The new town was built on the bank of the "Fairy Valley", hence the name "xianhe town". Now, people use the homonym of "crane" and "crane" to shape two immortals flying side by side at the top of the town monument.

Crane. How many interesting folk customs have been triggered by the homophonic changes of Chinese characters!

The easternmost village of the Yellow River

Every year, the Yellow River alluvial new land in the estuary. Locals call this land-building movement "gushing" and "opening the Yellow River". With new land, people will come to cultivate it. This is called "running along the Yellow River" or "going down the depression".

People who are "depressed" build a simple house to settle down, which is collectively called "depressed house". The simplest one, half underground and half on the ground, is called "underground house". Specific names are named "Zhang" and "Li" after the owner's surname.

People who are initially "depressed" cling to their hometown, sow in spring and return to their hometown after the autumn harvest.

This is called "running to the door". After a long time, I stopped "running", settled down completely, and gradually formed a village with children. Many villages called "XX Family", "Wujiazi Family" and "Seventeen Family" were formed in this way.

At present, the nearest villages to the Yellow River Estuary are Xizhang, Victoria Song, Yucai and Western Han Dynasty, all in Dongying City.

On the site of Hekou District, but under Kenli County, villagers call themselves "enclaves". Among the four villages, the Western Han Village is the largest with the longest history, and there is no temporary signboard.

Western Han Village, built on 1965, was also called Hanjiawuzi. Now it has grown to 64 households 1 aquaculture.

500 acres of land, wheat, corn, soybeans and rice have been planted in recent years. In the past, there were many houses and straw houses in the village, and in recent years, tile houses have been built. When I came, there were many wasteland, and every family had a yard surrounded by branches and reeds. Commonly known as "foil barrier". It is a common practice to build temporary houses in the yard. They are called "back seat house", "grass house", "cow house", "tractor house", "motorcycle house" and so on.

The villagers have a good spirit of unity. When someone builds a new house, they first post a couplet: "Basic implementation, good friends and relatives."

Youqi assisted; The new house was built and everyone in Gecun supported it. "The couplet is written like this, and so is everyone.

There is a strange phenomenon: the western part of Korea has been in Wali village for more than 20 years, and all the children born in Wali have grown up. However, it is still not an independent administrative village, and village affairs are still managed by Xihan Village in Dongji Township. Two villages, one name, are both called the Western Han Dynasty. Wali people call themselves "Xiawa", the former village is called "fellow villager" and the return home is called "Shang". They have close and frequent contact with the people in their hometown, which is 180 miles away. Many people married to their hometown when they were young. Although it is only three miles away from Yu village, there is little contact between the two villages.

The villagers cut reeds, mow grass with shirts, fish and hunt rabbits, all of which interest foreigners.

Lijin Huanghe wharf

Lijin county is the nearest county to the Yellow River. In the old society, nearly a thousand ships, large and small, were moored at the commercial pier of Dongguan Street. 500 ships went out of the Yellow River estuary into the sea, traveling between Northeast China, Hebei and Jiaodong. Medium-sized ships run nearly 200 miles to Luokou Town, Jinan, and as far as Shanxi, Henan. There are 200 boats, mostly used for short-distance transportation and fishing. 1965

In 2006, the tofu lane in the city was built, and the ships coming and going were still busy. In recent years, the Yellow River has dried up and the navigation industry has been neglected. However, you can still get a lot of knowledge about sailing customs on the Yellow River by visiting the old town near the pier.

Wharf is commonly known as freight yard. In the past, ships in the Yellow River were commonly known as "sliders". From the upstream, there were "sheep wood", "bump", "chicken nest" and "flat son", and the smallest ship was named "boat". At that time, all ships had nicknames, which were humorous and kind. What I remember is the falling cow, the boat, the nest, the big basket, the small gong, the double pull, the two masts, the cow and the cat.

The yellow river boatman's horn is loud and clear, and there are many kinds of horns, such as going out of the river, entering the river, anchoring, supporting the tent, twisting and pulling the sleeve, etc.

Yellow river swordfish

The area around the Yellow River Estuary is called "the land of many fish" because there are both sea fish and river fish here. Among all kinds of fish, the most popular along the Yellow River is the Yellow River saury, which foreigners don't know much about.

The yellow river swordfish belongs to dike family, also known as "spear swordfish". It is six or seven inches small and more than a foot long. Its body is thin and bright, like a sharp knife. It grows in the river and also in the sea. Every year around Grain Rain, it goes upstream along the Yellow River from the sea, spawns in selected places, reaches Dongping Lake as far as possible, and swims back to the sea after beginning of autumn. When the rainy season is small, it is the flood season for swordfish fishing in the Yellow River. As the fishing proverb says, "the wheat is a little yellow, but the swordfish is very long." This is also the season when the yellow river swordfish is fat. Although beginning of autumn can catch yellow river swordfish in the future, its taste is far worse than that in spring.

The ideal place to catch swordfish on the Yellow River is near the beach. There are two kinds of nets: purse seine and sticky net. Purse seine project

The industry is to ram a stake into the river first, tie one end of the net to the stake, then rock the boat to release the net, and then rock the boat to close the net. When fish flourish, a net can gain 1000 pounds. The net-sticking operation is to cut off the river and insert rods, with fine barbed wire hanging between the rods, and the swordfish sticks to the net, and the fishermen shake the boat regularly to catch fish.

The yellow river swordfish is fat and fat, and it doesn't need many condiments to cook. The meat is mellow and delicious. There is a folk way of eating.

The method can be described as hearty. The fish in the dry pot and the swordfish in the pot roll up a single cake and take a bite. Both the cake and the fish are swallowed, leaving thin fishbones around the cake roll, pulling it out by hand, taking another bite, pulling it out while eating, and cooking all the fish in the cake. This kind of food is the most unforgettable in the countryside.

Fotousi pottery

Shengli Township, Kenli County, whose village name is Fotou Temple, is near the Yellow River. It has been making pottery for generations. In the past, it was mainly used to make daily-use pottery, but now it is famous for making black pottery at home and abroad.

To make household pottery, we often make seasonal utensils: boiling water tanks in spring, flowerpots in summer and yellow pots in autumn.

Burning noodles in winter. Yellow pots come in complete sizes. They are widely used to hold vegetables and mix noodles. There is a local saying: "A set of yellow pots in Fotou Temple", which is very famous in Fiona Fang.

The big water tank is used to store water, and the small water tank is used to send rice and soup. It is said that it is used to hold rice and soup, which is slow but not sour. There is also a kind of jar, which has a lid, is burned into a black background and coated with red soil. It is very simple and lovely. Other utensils include wine stoves, incense burners, basins, flower pots and so on. There are also ceramic toys, such as whistles, whistles, bell balls, cuckoos, clay dolls and the Monkey King.

In recent years, only large and small flowerpots are made by hand. In the workshop, mud nests are set up, mud is mixed, mud is covered, mud is trodden, grass is cut with a bow, kneading agent, preparation, wheel loading, cavity drawing, edge holding, shaping, pot loading, blank drying, kiln entry, burning and kiln exit. Pottery-making techniques that have been popular for thousands of years can still be witnessed here.

With the help of the pottery tradition passed down from generation to generation, they set up a pottery factory with exquisite craftsmanship. Still using the red mud of the Yellow River as raw material, more than 250 varieties of black pottery series products have been produced through molding, carving, polishing and calcination. The color of the product is black, the texture is hard, detailed and bright, and the sound is very loud.

High ornamental value and use value. There are antique vases, stationery, table lamps, people, animals, hanging plates and so on.
