There are four famous Shaanxi operas.

The "Four Famous Dances" began in June 2004. After more than half a year of fierce competition, four famous dancers 16 and four minor dancers 16 were produced among thousands of Shaanxi opera actors. After comprehensive evaluation by experts, media and audience, as well as the results of the semi-finals, on the evening of February 23rd, the selection results showed that Li Mei, Li Juan, Qi Aiyun and Liu Ping became the four leading figures of China Shaanxi Opera. From February 2/KLOC-0 to February 23, Shaanxi TV broadcasted "Four Famous Dances of China's Shaanxi Opera" to the whole country and overseas through satellite channels.
