China's concept of providing for the aged is a sense of security. Most elderly people will choose to stay at home after retirement, take care of their grandchildren, dance square dance, play chess and enjoy family happiness. But the concept of the elderly in Japan is quite different from ours. If you live in Japan, you will find that there are old people in every job. Don't they have pensions? Or is Japan too aging? Actually, not all of them. As for why the old people have been working, there are mainly these reasons.

First of all, they think it is shameful to get something for nothing. In traditional Japanese culture, the concept of not working and not eating is deeply rooted.

Second, the aging is serious. In recent years, the birth rate has dropped sharply, and the working-age population has dropped simultaneously. A large number of jobs are short of people, and Japan is not an immigrant country. Therefore, we have to continue to employ the elderly, which is no way out.

Third, the improvement of old-age care equipment. Japan has developed many assistive devices for the elderly, and some scientific and technological products are suitable for the elderly. Even public places have specially set up seats for the elderly. The service of the nursing home is also the ultimate. Nursing homes are divided into public and private, and you can choose a suitable nursing home according to everyone's situation.

But good old-age care institutions are also expensive. Moreover, there is no tradition in Japan that children give up their lives for the elderly, and the elderly rely entirely on their own income and efforts. Therefore, going to work after retirement is just for peace of mind in the future.
