Cotton is not solid, okay?

The biggest advantage is balanced performance, warmth, fluffy and skin-friendly.

Good fluffy: thanks to the natural spiral curl of cotton fiber, it is a natural spring and the source of fluffy cotton.

Good warmth retention: cotton fiber is not solid, but has a hollow cell (waist-shaped), which can store a lot of air, and air is a poor conductor of heat and the core of cotton warmth retention. This is also the reason why polyester is imitated in the shape of cotton and also adopts hollow structure.

Good skin-friendliness: cotton itself is a kind of natural fiber, which has good compatibility with organisms, and the chemical composition of cotton is cellulose, which contains a large number of hydrophilic groups such as hydroxyl -OH and carboxyl -COOH. People also need metabolism during sleep, and the "sweat" secreted by the skin can be well absorbed by cotton.

However, with the sudden emergence of duvets and chemical fiber quilts in recent years, many consumers no longer favor quilts.

Mainly the traditional quilt does have many problems.

In places or seasons with particularly humid climate, cotton sometimes absorbs water vapor in the natural environment due to its good hygroscopicity, resulting in poor warmth retention.

Due to the short fiber length, low-quality and inferior cotton fibers will become hard, reunion and fall off after a period of use, and they need to bounce off again to become more fluffy. This is why there is a profession of playing cotton.

This is a common problem of traditional quilts, but it does not mean that high-quality quilts will have such a situation.
